Cherylene Tucker LPC-S, NCC, MAC, LCDC
Cherylene Tucker is a Licensed Professional Counselor-Supervisor and a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor in the state of Texas. She is also a National Certified Counselor, certified by the National Board for Certified Counselors, Inc. (NBCC). Additionally, she holds the Certified Master Addiction Counselor designation from the National Association for Addiction Professionals (NAADAC).
Cherylene earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice from St. John’s University in Queens, NY. She later received her Master of Arts in Professional Counseling and Marriage and Family Therapy from Amberton University in Garland, TX. Currently, Cherylene is a doctoral student at East Texas A&M University, pursuing her PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision.
As a therapist, Cherylene is passionate about helping adults address the challenges that hinder their progress. Her therapeutic approach incorporates evidence-based therapies, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), to assist clients in restoring emotional regulation and gaining clarity. She particularly enjoys providing couples counseling.
As an LPC-Supervisor, Cherylene aims to support LPC-Associates as they apply the skills learned in their training to real-life situations, guiding them toward becoming fully Licensed Professional Counselors.
